The Beewoo is designed to meet the requirements of a beginner's throw. The boomerang's lever arm is large to facilitate rotation and the blade chord is fine-tuned to reduce its mass. Its smoothness limits braking in air and compensates for the loss of inertia in its rotation due to its low mass. The choice of materials for the realization of a boomerang is also fundamental, it is in 3mm 6-ply plywood. A thickness substantial enough to ensure flexibility and resistance to crashes, but thin enough to facilitate implementation and generate aerodynamic forces at low speed during the return.

The "outline" of the Bewoo (its general shape) ensures ease of catching comparable to a three-bladed, reinforced by a planing and braked return trajectory.
